I have been coached by Karl for over 2 years now and I guess that speaks for itself. As an aspiring and ambitious C grade road racer I asked Karl to take me on in a bid to make the most out of the time I spend on my hobby. The initial improvements were massive as Karl cut out the wasted time and indecision and I needed only to follow Karl’s guidance to start my improvements. On a performance level, I progressed very quickly under Karl’s expert and scientific training methods going from C grade to A grade in a few months and improving from 5hrs 50mins in my first lake taupo challenge to 4hrs 10mins by following Karl’s advice. I trained smarter and got a lot more enjoyment out of my hobby with Karl on board as I enjoyed progressing and experiencing the sport and competition at a different level to what I had in the past which inspired me on to further gains.

I feel anybody like myself who has a demanding full time job and wants to make the most out of the time they spend on their hobby could benefit from having a coach and I would highly recommend choosing Karl for that role. His personal experience on two wheels is unquestionable and there for everybody to see and his training methods have delivered fantastic results to many athletes that Karl has coached. On a personal level, Karl is a fantastic guy whose passion for cycling is thoroughly infectious and I have always respected his genuine desire to help his athletes achieve their goals and ambitions. Karl is always more than happy to chat to me about the latest nutrition myth I read on the internet or the next piece of kit I am planning on buying and his experience Is a great asset to draw upon.

When I started with Karl I had just started racing C grade in NZ, I progressed through the ranks to racing A grade in NZ and have been racing in the UK in some of the biggest and most competitive events in the country since moving back to the UK 12 months ago. I have raced for probikekit.com’s elite racing team this season and have achieved a number of results I am proud of. The decision to stick with Karl as my coach even after moving half way around the world was an easy one because I am stoked with what Karl has helped me achieve to this point and I trust Karl to help me fulfil my potential looking forward.
